Where it began
A simple idea with a bigger purpose.
More opportunities to get on the ice. More chances to compete. More places to learn without already being the best player in the room. A hockey experience built with girls at the centre of it.
A place for every player
Different paths. One place to belong.
Girls enter hockey at different ages and develop at different speeds. Some have played since they could walk. Others discover the game years later. Some want high-level competition. Others are still learning where to stand on a faceoff.
Rink Rebels grew from seeing that reality and deciding to create another path. What began as opportunities to bring girls together on the ice has become a community of tournaments, development programs, scrimmages, clinics, mentorship and unforgettable shared experiences.

The goal has never been simply to fill ice times. We challenge players, help them improve and keep the reason they started playing in the first place at the heart of it all: hockey is fun.

Development is more than skating faster or shooting harder. It is the confidence to enter a dressing room and know you belong. It is meeting a teammate and leaving with a friend. It is making a mistake, trying again and seeing women playing, coaching, officiating and leading throughout the game.

Rink Rebels is bigger than any single tournament, clinic or event. We are helping build a stronger culture around girls hockey across Atlantic Canada, alongside players, coaches, officials, associations, universities, professional hockey, sponsors, families and community organizations.
